Krabi - How to Get There

Khong Chiam - Ubon Ratchathai

Chiang Mai International Art and Culture Festival 2007

00000224.jpgThe Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to invite you to the 10th Chiang Mai International Art and Culture Festival to be held at the Three Kings Monument and the Chiang Mai City Arts and Cultural Centre between 1-9 April 2007.

Various stage performances will be seen throughout the nine days. There will be music by the Royal Thai Navy’s Band and Rudklao Amratisha. Dance performances will come from different regions with cultural shows from Japan and Lao PDR. Lanna’s puppet shows will be presented. There will also be music by the ETC Band, together with invited artists: Wiyada Komarakun na Nakhon, Jennifer Kim, Koh Mr. Saxman, and Ford Sopchai Kraiyoonsen. Udon Thani - How to get there

udon.jpgUdon Thani (know simply as Udon) is approximately 560 km from Bangkok, the province covers an area of 15,589 sq. km., with its boundary stretching to Nong Khai in the north, Khon Kaen in the south, Sakon Nakhon in the east, and Nong Bua Lam Phu in the west. Udon Thani is situated on a plateau with mountains and forested area in the west.

Udon Thani is probably best known for its archaeological wonders, paramount among them the hamlet of Ban Chiang where the world’s first Bronze Age civilization is believed to have flourished more than 5,000 years ago.

Koh Chang - How to go

Covering an area of 429 sq. kms., it features fine beaches, coral reefs, and plentiful marine life. Located in the eastern part of Thailand, Koh Chang (Ko Chang) is close to the border of Cambodia. Chiang Dao, Chiang mai

doi.jpgChiang Dao is an ideal base for people touring the area, whether on foot, cycling, in rented cars, or on motorbikes. Elephant centres and river rafting are situated close by. A wide variety of hilltribe villages are dotted around the nearby mountains which can be reached independently or as part of a tour or trek. There are also some hiking trails through the forest, or up the mountain.
