Adventure in Thailand

Most of nature and adventure touring is available in Thailand because of the country’s diverse geography. From mountains in the North and Northeast to the beaches and islands of the South, Thailand offers a diverse array of activities, such as mountain biking, sea kayaking, canoeing or traveling on elephant.

The Umphang jungle trek is different from the jungle treks in North Thailand so far as that the area is covered with primary tropical rain forest. There are only living two primitive hill tribes, the Karen and Hmong or Meo, who are seldom, visit by travelers. This jungle trek is a guaranteed exotic adventure into an area which is hardly visit by tourist.

WHITEWATER RAFTING
Rafting is fast gaining popularity among the young and young at heart. The mountainous regions of the North are the natural venue for whitewater rafting, especially after the rains from June to October when the rivers swell with floodwater. But first-class rafting is also to be found in the northern reaches of the central region.

BIKING
Biking is one of the great ways to explore the northern Thailand. With several biking trails, you are offered the opportunity to take an adventure while admiring the stunning scenery of the soaring mountains, verdant forest as well as cultural scence of tribal villages.

KAYAKING & CANOEING
The kayak camp is Sea Canoe’s budget alternative to their canoe expedition trips organized with escort boats. Base on the stunning island of Koh Yao Noi, situated only an hour by water from Phuket. The kayak camp offers an excellent back to nature experience. Koh Yao Noi is like to Thailand 20 years ago - a cultural delight.

TREKKING
Trekking is one of the most popular outdoor activities enjoyed by visitors of all ages. While trekking you can soothe your mind and spirit in the fresh air and stunning scenery of Thailand’s undiscovered wilds, and get a comprehensive aerobic workout at the same time. Treks can range from a single day light excursion to physically challenging adventures of a week or more.
